In the 70's and 80's the eco people were warning about glaciers extending down to Chicago-have they made it?

There is a former british politician Lord Christopher Monckton. He is also a expert on Climate. And he says it (Global Warming) is all crap. He didnt say it was crap. He did explain why it was though.
