Is liberation theology of God or of the devil?

Churches today who are involved in the so called "Liberation Theology" pushes themselves to the point of going agaist the legitimate political government to the point of m action and even arms struggle. They have inferred this from Jesus' words in Luke 4: 18-19. Did Jesus go against the Roman goverment? Did he join the political cause of the nationalist group of the zealots? Did he organize a group and encourage them to fight the existing government by giving them swords and spears?
