How do I go about getting an Air Force Medical waiver for a spontaneous pneumothorax?

I got top 10 percentile on my ASVAB for Aerospace Medical Tech. and got all ones across my MEPS physical, however, I got disqualified for a spontaneous pneumothorax. How do I go about getting a medical waiver for this? Because my recruiter told me I was DQ'd from all military service, which sounds pretty odd.
