My 6 Month Old Fell Off The Couch ?

My little boy fell off the couch this evening! He landed on his belly on carpeting over a fake-wood floor, so the floor is hard but the carpet cushioned his fall a bit I would think. I heard him thud to the floor and rushed over to him and grabbed him, he started fussing but I hugged him & comforted him. He wasn't bleeding or bruised in any way except for a red spot on his forehead where he must have banged it. I took off all his clothes to look for more bruises or marks as the result of the fall, but there were none anyplace else, just this red spot on his forehead. He only fussed for about a minute then he seemed to forget the incident as I took him away to another activity. Should I be concerned about what happened? The red spot is still visible on his forehead, he is acting normally and he seems ok otherwise. Obviously this type of accident is terrifying - will he be ok?
